With Silvio Micali and Charles Rackoff, introduced zero-knowledge interactive proofs, and with Micali the definition of semantic security that made modern encryption provable rather than merely unbroken. Two-time Godel Prize winner and Turing Award, 2012. Every zk-rollup and privacy protocol shipping today is standing on that 1985 paper.
