Scouting report
One of the six women who programmed ENIAC by physically rewiring it, working from logic diagrams because no programming language or manual existed. They were called operators and left out of the 1946 press photographs. She went on to help convert ENIAC to a stored-program machine and to work on BINAC and UNIVAC.

Invented the job while doing it, then watched the men be photographed.
