Worked on Pugs, the first usable Perl 6 implementation, and on Haskell and Perl tooling, then became a central figure in g0v, the Taiwanese civic hacking community that forks government websites into working versions. As Taiwan’s digital minister she published transcripts of essentially every meeting she took, and used participatory tooling like vTaiwan on real policy.
