Scouting report
Founded and co-led Google’s ethical AI team, and first-authored Model Cards for Model Reporting, which proposed that a released model should ship with a document stating its intended use, its evaluation data and where it performs worse. Hugging Face made model cards a default. She was fired alongside Gebru and is now chief ethics scientist at Hugging Face.
